Here at Selides Publishing, we love books. We all agree on that. What we can't agree on is the type of book. Some of the team prefer reading e-books while others love hunting for treasure in second hand bookstores. E-books might be more convenient, they're definitely lighter! But there is nothing like picking up an old book, and letting it fall open on the previous owner's favourite page. I always feel a wonderful sense of comradeship with the unknown reader, and hope they are okay. I like to imagine that they've sold, or donated, some of their spare books to make more space for new favourites. They might even be in the store on the very day I pick up their old book! I know, I know!

Do you remember the old line about everyone having a book in them? I think everyone who's ever lost themselves in a good book feels they could write a book of their own. If only they had the time. Well, why not? If that's you, and you're fighting the good fight to complete your masterpiece, I hope our tips and advice help.
